Tips For Bathing Your Baby During Winter

Bathing babies isn’t an easy thing, and when you are in winter you are totally worried about your baby and want to finish as soon as possible. In this article, we will give you some tips for Bathing Your Baby During Winter

1- Massage your baby before the bath:

In general, massage is a good thing that babies enjoy. But in winter massage will improve your baby’s blood circulation through all the body, so he will feel warmer before the bath. Make sure your hands are warm before the bath and the room’s temperature is warm enough too.

2- Check the water temperature before the bath:

Of course, you don’t want your baby to experience any uncomfortable sensation during the bath. So make sure you check the water’s temperature before bathing. You can do that using a thermometer, the beast temperature is 38 degrees. If you don’t have a thermometer, you can check it with your elbow. Put your elbow in water and check it, the elbow is a very sensitive part of the body, what you will feel is what your baby will feel too.

3- Keep the products you’ll need near you:

This includes baby shampoo, soap, oil, and towel. You shouldn’t waste time looking for them and leaving your baby cold.

4- Prepare the clothes before bathing:

Your baby’s clothes should be on the changing table or bed ready for you. Cover your baby’s chest while you are putting on a new diaper, keep his head covered too. This should keep your baby warm all the time.

5- Other tips:

Bath your baby starting from his feet and going upward. This prevents the head from being wet for too long. Also try to make bathing time 5-10 minutes, to make sure your baby won’t get sick after it.

We wish your baby all the health.
